Dr Lynda Foulder-Hughes

Dr Lynda Foulder-Hughes serves as the CEO and lead trainer at REMIND Therapy®.

She qualified as an occupational therapist in 1991.

She is a highly esteemed psychotherapist, academic, author, and  psychotherapeutic occupational therapist focusing on the merging of psychotherapy into holistic occupational therapy practice. She is celebrated for pioneering the professional role of the "Psychotherapeutic occupational therapist," connecting psychological interventions with functional everyday life.

 

Dr Foulder-Hughes holds two doctorates:  a PhD in Medicine (child health) and a PhD in Transpersonal Counselling, alongside two master's degrees. Within her role at REMIND Therapy®, she established an integrative therapeutic system that blends psychotherapeutic techniques with occupational therapy tenets. She is the author of the self-help book "Remind The Prescription for Happiness, Success and Fulfilment in Life."

Her insights have appeared in prominent mainstream outlets such as the BBC, BBC Sounds, The i Paper, i Weekend, The Telegraph, HuffPost etc. She remains a leading advocate for psychotherapy-informed care through her clinical practice and global leadership.

In 2015 she was named as one of Newsweek Magazine's 21st Century professionals across two editions.

 

Dr Foulder-Hughes was the specialist series consultant on the BBC Cbeebies, twice BAFTA nominated children's television series "Tree Fu Tom". She is credited on every episode of the show where she contributed to the series curriculum.
